Sentinel Electric Inc. provides testing and commissioning services to generation power plants for their protection and control projects. On a typical project (apparatus change out or relay protection upgrade), Sentinel Electric Inc. will dedicate a Commissioning Engineer to prepare, oversee, test and install those components and systems. Our Commissioning Engineers are experienced in commissioning of greenfield projects as well as maintenance. Some of the commissioning engineer’s responsibilities are to review the design drawings, develop and execute test plans provide technical direction to the protective relay engineer, equipment specialists and control board wiremen, and perform final in-service checks when bringing the equipment online for the first time.
